Laurence Darryl Conkerton
Hello, I am Laurence Conkerton and I have been providing mental health counseling and therapy services for 30 years. I hold a Louisiana state license as an LPC, (Licensed Professional Counselor Licensed number 1887) and a Texas State Board of Examiners Professional Counselors License (LPC Number 88905) and I am also Nationally Certified (NBCC). In Louisiana, I provide therapy by office visit or telehealth, and I provide therapy in Texas via telehealth only. I provide Individual, couples, family and group therapy to clients of all backgrounds and diversities. I am dedicated in helping my clients reach their goals and finding a healthy balance within all areas of their lives.
How I Work
Your initial visit will begin with a thorough evaluation to determine your needs and treatment goals. I use various evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mind Body Medicine, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Client Centered Interventions.
